Before-and-after photography is a documentation discipline, not a marketing format.

Every transformation on this page documents a complete treatment arc, initial presentation, surgical day, provisional, and final prosthesis, captured under controlled lighting and from consistent angles so that the comparison is honest rather than flattering. The reason this matters is that the standard cosmetic-dentistry before-and-after format has drifted, over the last decade, into a category of staged photography where the after image is taken in better lighting, with whiter teeth, and with the patient smiling in a way the before image does not. Apex documents results the same way an academic case series does: identical lighting, identical patient positioning, identical photographic protocol. The result is less visually dramatic than what national chains publish, and considerably more clinically truthful.

The cases on this page also reflect a deliberate distribution across procedure types. A practice that publishes only its best-looking All-on-4 cases is communicating that its caseload is heavily weighted toward a single procedure and that other cases either are not performed or are not photographed.
