What recovery looks like

Day 1 (surgery day)
Liquid diet, ice, rest
You'll feel groggy for a few hours from anesthesia. Mild swelling is normal. Apply ice 20 min on / 20 min off. Liquid diet (soup, smoothies, protein shakes).

Soft food, light activity
Swelling peaks days 2β3, then subsides. Most patients stop pain meds by day 4. Soft food only. No heavy lifting or workouts.

Back to normal life
