What full-mouth dental implants are

Both arches. One coordinated surgical plan.

Full-mouth dental implants restore both your upper (maxillary) and lower (mandibular) arches at the same time, typically using the All-on-4 protocol on each arch. The result is a complete set of fixed, functional teeth, anchored to titanium implants, supported by your jaw bone, and built to last decades.

Most patients who come to us for full-mouth have either lost most of their natural teeth or are facing the prospect of removing failing teeth and dentures. Both situations are within our standard scope. We extract any remaining failing teeth, place the implants, and attach same-day temporary fixed teeth, all in a single surgical day under full general anesthesia.

Our $25,000 starting price reflects the all-inclusive nature of the procedure: implants, full-arch prostheses for both arches, anesthesia, same-day teeth, the free 3D CT scan, and the four-to-six-month healing process culminating in your final zirconia prosthesis. Most national chains charge $40,000–$60,000 for the equivalent result.

Full-mouth implant questions

What patients ask before committing to full-mouth

How much do full-mouth dental implants cost at Apex?+

Full-mouth (both arches) starts at $25,000, that's $12,500 per arch using our All-on-4 protocol. The price includes the implants, the full-arch bridge, full general anesthesia, same-day teeth, and the free 3D CT scan. Custom cases (All-on-6, zygomatic, hybrid) are quoted at consultation.

Do I need to do both arches at the same time?+

Not necessarily. Many patients restore one arch first, see how they like the result, then return for the second arch later. Both approaches are fine clinically, the choice is yours.

Will I have teeth the same day?+

Yes. Same-day temporary fixed teeth are standard with full-mouth restoration at Apex. You walk in toothless or in failing teeth and walk out with a full set of fixed, functional teeth.

How long does the surgery take?+

A single-arch All-on-4 takes 2–3 hours. A full-mouth (both arches) day is typically 4–6 hours under full general anesthesia. You're asleep for the entire procedure.

How long do full-mouth implants last?+

The implants themselves are designed to last for life. The prosthesis (the bridge of teeth) typically lasts 15–20+ years for premium zirconia. Routine cleanings keep the gums and bone healthy long-term.

What financing is available?+

We work with CareCredit, LendingClub, and several other healthcare financing providers. A typical $25,000 full-mouth case finances around $389/month with approved credit. We run financing options at the free consultation.

Am I a candidate if I've worn dentures for years?+

In most cases yes, even with significant bone loss. We use a 3D CT scan at the consultation to map your jaw bone and plan the exact procedure. If your upper jaw bone is severely depleted, we may recommend zygomatic implants for that arch.

Who places the implants?+

Drs. Maninder and Tanvir Singh, our specialty implant providers, perform every implant placement at Apex. Both are University of the Pacific graduates with extensive implant training, working under the surgical methodology developed by Medical Director Dr. Sunny Badyal over 20,000+ implants.

What full-mouth restoration actually solves

Full-mouth implant restoration is one of the most life-changing procedures in modern dentistry — and one of the most over-quoted.

Patients who arrive at the full-mouth conversation are usually past the point of saving individual teeth. They've spent years and tens of thousands of dollars on root canals, crowns, periodontal treatments, and partial dentures, and the underlying problem keeps progressing. A full-mouth implant restoration — typically All-on-4 on both arches, sometimes All-on-6 or hybrid configurations — replaces all the failing teeth at once with a fixed, permanent set of teeth supported by 8 implants total. The result is a complete restoration of chewing function, facial structure, and confidence in a single, planned surgical day.

The pricing on full-mouth varies more dramatically than any other implant procedure. National chains commonly quote $50,000-$70,000 for both arches; luxury cosmetic practices quote $80,000+. Apex's all-inclusive price is $25,000 total for both arches ($12,500 per arch), which covers extractions, surgical placement of all 8 implants, immediate temporary teeth on the day of surgery, anesthesia, and the final permanent prosthesis. The same Neodent (Straumann group) implants are used regardless of where you go; the difference is overhead structure, marketing layer, and how the practice is set up to handle high-acuity surgical days.

The procedure day itself is more involved than a single implant — typically 5-7 hours of operating room time under full general anesthesia, with our board-certified anesthesiologist on site throughout. Most patients walk out the same day with a fixed temporary set of teeth, eat soft food that evening, and return to office work within 5-7 days. The final permanent prosthesis is delivered 3-6 months later once the implants have integrated with bone. From the patient's experience: failing teeth one day, fixed teeth that look and function naturally the next.
