What do I bring to the consultation?+
List of current medications, names of any specialists you see (cardiologist, endocrinologist, etc.), insurance card if you have dental insurance, and any prior dental records or X-rays from other providers (helpful but not required, our 3D CT scan is the gold standard for implant planning).
Will you try to sell me an implant procedure?+
No. The consultation is informational. Some patients are excellent candidates and ready to schedule. Some patients aren't ready or need treatment elsewhere first (active gum disease, untreated cavities). Some patients leave without scheduling and that's perfectly fine. We give you the honest assessment and the decision is entirely yours.

Will you check my insurance benefits?+
Yes, if you have dental insurance, we run your benefits at the consultation. Most PPO plans cover 50% of dental implant costs up to an annual maximum. Some plans exclude implants. We tell you the exact coverage, the maximum benefit, and your out-of-pocket cost after insurance.
Can I bring my spouse or family member?+
Absolutely encouraged. A second set of ears helps. Many patients bring their spouse or an adult child to the consultation, especially for major procedures like All-on-4 or full-mouth restoration. We're happy to repeat the explanation as many times as needed for everyone to feel informed.
What if I'm not a candidate for implants?+
It happens occasionally. The 3D CT scan tells us definitively. If you're not a candidate (severe uncontrolled bone loss, certain medical conditions), we'll explain why and refer you to alternatives, denture options, bone graft procedures, or specialty providers. You don't pay anything for the determination.
