Our commitment

Apex Implant Center is committed to making our website and our practice accessible to every patient, including patients with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive disabilities. We believe every person deserves the same opportunity to learn about their dental care options and reach our team.

Conformance standard

We design and build apeximplantcenters.com to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities and more usable to everyone.

What this means in practice

  • All meaningful images include descriptive alt text for screen-reader users
  • Interactive elements (buttons, links, forms) are reachable and operable by keyboard alone
  • Visible focus indicators on every interactive element so keyboard users can see where they are
  • Text contrast meets or exceeds the WCAG AA threshold (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text)
  • Page structure uses proper headings and landmark regions so assistive technology can navigate efficiently
  • The site is responsive and supports browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content
  • Forms include clearly labeled fields and helpful error messages

Ongoing testing

We test the site with automated accessibility scanners (axe-core), and we review keyboard navigation and screen reader behavior on major user-flow pages, including the homepage, consultation request, contact, and procedure pages. We re-test after every significant redesign and as part of our regular quality reviews.

Third-party content

Some interactive components on our site are provided by trusted third parties, including our online booking and lead form. While we choose vendors that prioritize accessibility, we do not fully control how those embedded elements are implemented. If you encounter difficulty using a third-party feature, please reach out and we will help you complete your request another way, including by phone.

In-office accessibility

Our Elk Grove office is wheelchair accessible. We can accommodate patients with mobility, hearing, or vision needs, please call us in advance and we will prepare your visit. American Sign Language interpreter requests, large-print treatment plans, and quiet sensory rooms can be arranged on request at no charge.

If any part of this website is not accessible to you, or you would like to request an accommodation, please contact us. We respond within two business days and will work with you directly to provide the information you need in an accessible format, or to schedule your consultation by phone.
